Nextjs Conf is a yearly event organized by the company Vercel. They are the company responsible for the development of the framework Nextjs which has had a very wide adoption in the web development space for the last few years.

During this annual event, they announced new features for the Nextjs framework. This year , it was the introduction of a new major release namely; Nextjs 13 which brings a whole lot of new features to table such as; New App Directory, Layouts features and much more. After the CEO of the company finished his speech about all the new features, there was the possibility to ask some questions. One of the questions was "How this would fit in their workflow and how migration would go from Nextjs 12 to Nextjs 13".

After the main event was over it was time for personalities from other companies to give talks about a specific topic. These where either short or long segments, but always really informative.

To finish, I definitely enjoyed the conference. It was nice learning about new features coming to Nextjs, the questions asked about developers in the crowd and the talks given afterwards were also very interesting.

Even though, this is more of a web developer focused conference, I would not shy away if your are not one, and its free :)! So, this is definitely a recommendation for other students!
